I don’t know who said this, but my friend Nicole Arsiwala shared it in a Facebook post. And the post related to the stuff on your mind makes for a great Sermon this Sunday. It says:
You live in our minds, and not in bungalows, flats, duplexes That is certainly your permanent residence, which has no square-feet constraints. Your mind is a vast space with an unlimited area. You may have a well-organized home. But, you find peace only when things are sorted out in your mind.
However, your mind is where you keep things messy. Your mind has regrets piling up in one corner, and expectations stuffed in a closet. You also keep secrets under the carpet in your mind, worries littered everywhere. There are comparisons spilled on the table, and complexes leaking from an old bottle. Keep an eye out. You got to do the housekeeping of your mind yourself. That’s because you cannot outsource it.
