Time evolves, although it is barely noticeable, unless
you are caught within its
undercurrent.
In
dreams,
she arrives, one hauntingly familiar, a silhouette of a shape,
the remembrance of an apparition, whose ghostly
appearance I regard as most
frightening.
is her hollow eyes I dread, a searing image of the undead,
visualized within my tormented sleep, an effigy
of a recently lost loved one, I cannot
respond to, its
whispering I have heard, the utterances of the undead longing
to be addressed, a tale of tragedy never told…
Speak blithe spirit, thou were not a wretched soul, there remains
nothing to be fearful of, not for you, perhaps, but for I.
tell me your story word for word, and I will listen to you in return.
It was her eyes casting doubt, unmoving, as they were,
remaining stationary, leaving you left
to inquire about her
intent.
It
weakened her, when faced with adversity, trials, and tribulations
which often confronted her. She found them extremely
difficult to manage, the numerous
misfortunes, arriving
quite
regularly, leaving her with nothing left to fend for herself…
I remember her inquiring.
Love is the absence of fear her heart replied…
Her heart responded after an elongated pause,
realizing the emotional
trauma.
