Many thanks for your nice birthday greetings yesterday. My stress was too much. The phone rang repeatedly. And Facebook will inform others about your plans on Messenger and Timeline. I will read them all in the next few days. Knowing they are waiting for me is comforting. You know I have dark chocolate in the fridge, cigars in the humidor, whisky in the bar, coffee everywhere, fresh books on the shelves, and the next season of “Blacklist” on Netflix ready to watch.
I learned a long time ago that the only way to be happy was to always do what made me happy. Yesterday was spent exclusively on it. Many ways to be happy.
What you seek matters. I strive to enjoy my life and surroundings. There were lots. No need to search outdoors. When you are at peace with yourself, grateful for what you have, and content, you may be very happy. Flowers, gifts, cakes, and a gourmet supper were brought home yesterday. Along with all that, the best thing I have is the honest wish of strangers to have a great birthday. We should be grateful. God bless you all…
