She is undoubtedly known as the leading lady in personal branding and fashion. The relatability of modern fashion with India has been done through her. She has represented India internationally, proving to be the heart and soul of fashion in India.

Ritu replied: “I like to be surrounded by hyperactivity of visual stimuli, ideas, and talent to replenish my mind’s eye. Life inspires me more than anything else. This motivation fuels my enthusiasm. It has also provided me with some of the most rewarding experiences I could ever ask for.”

She was in the initial batch of the National Institute of Fashion Technology and will always remember her time there. When we asked her to expound on these initiatives, she responded, “I founded ‘THE RITU BERI DESIGN FRATERNITY’ in 1997. It was built as a launching pad for young outstanding designers. RBFF –was founded for a good cause, with the objective of assisting young designers. RBFF counsels educate and assists children. The RBFF hosted the capital’s first three-day designer fashion festival. Under my direction, the initial round of 22 designers showcased timeless elegance during the RBFF event.
Ritu Beri founded the Luxury League to promote and advertise Indian luxury. The aim was also to kickstart the concept of branding India abroad.
Ritu’s primary purpose behind building The Luxury League is to foster creativity, dynamism, and innovation in the luxury sector.
Through The Luxury League, she intends to form a worldwide consortium. And for this, The Luxury League will target luxury companies, decision-makers, prominent people, and designers.
One of The Luxury League’s aims is to make the world aware of the wealth of knowledge stored within the workshops of Indian firms, as well as to generate professional prospects for India’s young, in addition to supporting and fostering invention.
Ritu Beri’s concept of power apparel for women and how it affects their personality
Ritu says she likes the concept of power dressing. As remote work becomes more widespread, Ritu discussed how it might affect power dressing.
She said, “Remote work has changed how we think and behave, but this is not the case for everyone. That is because some people, such as myself, prefer to wear power attire in order to feel more productive.”
Ritu Beri discusses the role Khadi might play in promoting an image of powerful women
Ritu was the first well-known designer to organize Khadi fashion shows in the 1990s.

Ritu started, “KHADI has long been acknowledged as “the” fabric of India.
A perfect luxury, a traditional, organic hand-spun cloth. Khadi is a formidable pre-independence fabric… with enormous scope and potential. I believe that women make up 70% of khadi fabric artisans. I am delighted and astounded to learn that the majority of khadi fabric makers are women.”

Her motive is to bring local to global. She has the vision to use fashion as a medium to represent Indian culture. The revival of Indian culture lies within its roots i.e., rural India. Through her sense of purpose and hard work, she is trying to give it back to society.
The fashion legend said, “I dream of writing many inspirational books, to leave behind a legacy that shall live long after me. The luxury League is a project close to my heart and I would also be doing my best to promote khadi as the signature fabric of India, a global fabric beyond India.”
