Rambandhu Vats working election strategy

The image of Bihar’s Rambandhu Vats is emerging as a successful political strategist. Rambandhu Vats has been working on the principle of polarisation of votes through problems of public concern in the Chhattisgarh and Bihar elections. He believes that problems with their own caste-religious identity are directly related to the polarization of votes. A person can change the caste-and-religious identity of those problems, as a strategist. There are some problems that do not have much impact on voters. Linking those problems with votes is also part of the action plan,  in such a situation.

Rambandhu Vats had predicted the defeat of the BJP in the Assembly Elections of 2018

Rambandhu Vats had predicted that BJP will lose the Assembly Elections of 2018 even before the polls. At that time, there was a farmers’ agitation in many parts of India. According to him, Chhattisgarh also had a number of different organizations on the basis of caste identity,  like other states. All of them were sure to take part in the farmer’s movement. All those organizations approached their castes to vote against the government, at the time of elections. Rambandhu Vats identified the activity at that time. He had then said such organizations are having an effective dialogue with the farmers of their castes which the government may lose. And that is what happened. Rambandhu Vats had, in an analysis of the election results, said that in Chhattisgarh elections, farmers have voted against the government by not voting for their own caste candidate by asking their caste organisations.

Namdev Samaj Vikas Parishad felicitated Rambandhu Vats

In 2020, he was felicitated by Namdev Samaj Vikas Parishad that was held in Chhatisgarh. In fact, he had advised an organization to unite the registered society at the national level. The aim was to unite the registered society and its sub-castes and create political consciousness in it.

The people of Bihar also voted for eight Bihar Council seats. This was in addition to the Assembly Elections in Bihar last year. There was widespread resentment against the government over the irregularities in pay between the teachers who were working here and the unfunded college teachers.

Rambandhu Vats had asked the candidates of the graduate constituency and teachers’ constituency to carry out the agitation of school and college teachers simultaneously. Teachers employed in Bihar, unfunded teachers, university guest teachers and old pensioner teachers have their own problems. However, none of them had communication among themselves. All the teachers were based on the leadership of their respective associations. Because of that, every union looked weak and lonely. As old pensioner teachers and guest teachers are not voters of teachers constituency, candidates do not pay attention to them.

How Rambandhu Vats showed collective resentment of teachers against the government

Rambandhu Vats initiated a dialogue between people associated with all organizations to show collective resentment of teachers against the government. As a result, it had put pressure on the Government. According to him, withdrawing the strike by primary and secondary employed teachers in 2020 was a mistake. Rambandhu Vats said the leadership of the teachers’ union does not want to provoke resentment against the government among the teachers. As long as all the teachers’ unions remain on their path separately, they will continue to be puppets in the hands of their own leadership.

Rambandhu Vats believes in electoral strategy by spreading political consciousness among small movements and sub-castes.
