Despite the fact that all living creatures have a right to exist on our planet, we are sometimes entirely indifferent to their plight merely because animals cannot communicate in human language and do not have a voice.
God created this world with a specific purpose in mind for all living species, and He did so to reach a state of equilibrium throughout his creation. He desired to live in a world where harmony and peace reigned, which led him to develop the “Food Chain,” which helps maintain the ecological balance in Nature. However, Man has indiscriminately plundered the natural environments of animals, slaughtering them for pleasure, food, skin, and other body parts, and training some to serve his needs, all in the name of profit.
What Eventually Happened?
As time went on, he became increasingly arrogant and self-centered, to the point where he believes the planet is there purely to deceive him. In addition, he was a trailblazer in using animals in scientific research, particularly in the realms of medicine and cosmetics. In his pursuit of knowledge, 111 experimented on them, treated them as scientific instruments, and eventually stopped feeling their suffering.
When it comes to wheel research, it is a well-known fact that these foolish creatures become a subject to abuse and brutality, which is a well-known fact. Only recently has the media drawn attention to the plight of animals used in research at the prestigious ‘All India! Medical Sciences’ institute.
A chill runs down my spine when I think about allowing them to suffer in silence. They were revolving in circles. They were displaying their nervous breakdown since they were in confinement with no access to a water source. Isn’t that a form of cruelty on your part?
To be clear, this does not imply that all research should stop; instead, it should discontinue if an animal is in pain! It should be put to death rather than allowed to live because animals, like humans, experience suffering; we can also ensure that they are adequately cared for when they are put to death.
A similar situation occurs when birds and other animals used to live in the wild are captured only for the goal of being sold as pets, where they are kept in cages or in conditions that are foreign to their natural environment. We are completely oblivious that a bird accustomed to soaring freely over the skies will not be happy in a cage.
Freeing Animals…
It is impossible for an animal accustomed to roaming freely in its natural habitat to live comfortably in a cage or confined space. Many instances of animal cruelty come from our mistaken idea that animals are content as long as they are adequately fed, which is untrue; imagine the experience of living in confinement, and you will understand what I am talking about.
Additionally, the lighting conditions for pets kept in households are not much better. The verbal abuse is at our mercy, and even if we abuse them, they are unable to speak for themselves, and no one appears to worry about their predicament. While it would be false to claim that all pet owners are entirely unconcerned with their animals, it is usually observed that their treatment depends on the owner’s attitude. People damage these naive creatures regularly, without realizing that they, too, are feeling agony.
It is common to see cows and stray dogs roaming the streets in India. Isn’t it cruel to allow them to walk the streets and ingest garbage left on the side of the road; putting them at risk of them colliding with fast-moving vehicles and damaging the property of companies whose items they destroy? As soon as the animal has completed its mission and has become old, infirm, or sick, the amber abandons it; letting it suffer from starvation and suffering on its terms.
CONCLUSION
The fundamental question is whether animals have a right to a healthy and happy existence. Even when animal rights activists cry out, the volume of their voices is too low for the world to hear.
We have lost our compassion for animals. They were once respected in many religions, and any violence toward them was condemned by society; ensuring that their rights were protected; nevertheless, we have lost our compassion not only for animals but also for other humans beings.
Everything on our planet has a function. That is why it is critical to have strong laws protecting the rights of animals. This is the only way to recuse the animals from Man’s greed and selfishness. And maintain the natural balance on the planet.
In schools, children must learn to respect all living creatures’ rights and appreciate all of Nature’s creations. That includes the environment. Additionally; parents can assist their children in gaining an understanding of the suffering that our actions may cause. They can achieve this by teaching them about compassion. It is not too late; let us all pledge to work together to make a difference.
