I start my day with Mickey Mehta every day. He is my close friend of 35 years, and he is also a renowned holistic health guru who transcends all boundaries. He has international doctorates for his research and study of Indian philosophies and scriptures, and he has an infinite reach on the internet, with zillions of grateful followers who are better people physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually because of him.
Mickey used to train the country’s leading captains of industry, glamorous celebrities, powerful politicians, media bigwigs, and top policemen. He taught and preached true wellness using pure meditation and the science of prayers. His philosophy is entirely, proudly, and initially his own, and it brings about a joyful and singing synchronization of the body, mind, and soul.
However, not everyone could reach him, so he began incorporating the sacred Zoroastrian tenets of Humata Hukta Huvarashta (good thoughts, good words, good deeds) and took his wisdom out to the world using his incredible communication skills and WhatsApp. He delivers simple but happy, enlightening, and influential wellness philosophies that are even funny, but they resonate strongly with everyone who receives them and kickstarts their day with a smile.
I receive Mickey’s daily posts and videos on how great and unique life can be when there is wellness in it. They pop up on my phone as soon as I turn it on, reminding me every morning of this vibrant, enthusiastic, and wonderful soul who once referred to me as his own brother from another mother while giving a radio interview. That’s how close we are. Today is Mickey’s 61st birthday. I am nowhere near as spiritual and philosophical as he is, but I hope he reads this and knows that I love him. Happy Birthday, brother!
