A coffee shop owner was busy the entire day. Like every weekend this Sunday also saw the same rush and crowd of customers who qued up endlessly for coffee. He was on his toes since the café
opened in the morning and he was very overwhelmed seeing the place busy. But towards the evening he started experiencing a splitting headache and it just got worse. Unable to endure the pain, he decided to walk across to the Pharmacy to buy a painkiller to relieve his headache. He gulped the
pill and felt immediate relief. He was feeling better. As he turned to leave the Pharmacy he enquired about the Pharmacy owner, as he had not seen him around. That’s when the sales girl told
him that the owner was having a splitting headache and he decided to take a break and sip on a hot cup of coffee, which will give him some relief.
It seemed very strange to think that two people who had been experiencing the same headache thought of two different solutions. To one taking a pill was a reliever and to the other sipping hot coffee
was the best solution. It’s a typical case of finding solutions to problems outside our boundaries. Humans travel to far-off places on Earth holy to ashrams and holy places to find peace. We fail to understand that Peace is within us, in our hearts and our minds. Being content and to be grateful for what we have is the roadway to attain peace. Peace is a state of mind. The solution to every problem is within us, the
right solution will give us peace.
