In a mother’s womb were two babies. Baby A and Baby B.
Baby A questioned baby B: “Do you believe there is life after delivery?” Baby B replied, “Why, of course. There has to be something after delivery. Maybe we are preparing ourselves for the upcoming part of life.” “Nonsense,” said Baby A. “There is no life after delivery. What kind of life would that be?”
Baby B said, “I have no idea about it, but we will not be in darkness anymore. We might use our legs to walk and our mouths to talk. There may be other senses that we aren’t aware of”
Baby A replied, “That is absurd. Walking is impossible. And eating with our mouths? Ridiculous! The umbilical cord provides us with all the nutrition required. But the umbilical cord is so short. Life after delivery is close to impossible.”
Baby B insisted, “I believe there might not be any need for this physical cord anymore. There might be something different”
Baby A said, “Nonsense. And moreover, had there been life, then why haven’t we seen anyone returning back from there? Delivery is where the life ends, post which there is nothing more than darkness and silence”
“Well, I’m not sure,” said Baby B, “but surely we are going to meet our mother and will be taken care of by her.” Baby A asked, “Mother? Do you actually believe in Mother? That’s laughable. Where is the mother now if at all she exists?”
Baby B responded, “She is all around us. She surrounds us. We are of Her. It is in Her that we live. It’s impossible for the world to exist without her .”
Said Baby A: “Well I don’t see Her, so it is only logical that She doesn’t exist.” To which Baby B replied, “At times when you are calm and carefully listen, we may feel her presence and hear her lovable voice from the top.
