Awaiting
Now that I have awakened from my fitful sleep, I lie afraid,
regrettably, remembering what lay beneath my bed
horrifically revealing, the monsters
awaiting
I can still make out some of my terrifying dreams…
In what manner am I required to respond and in what dialect,
I find it difficult to
perceive…
Am I to overlook their ungodly appearance,
what I have visually
envisioned
within a twice-dreamed dream as I attempt to differentiate
the difference betwixt reality
and an illusion,
in reference
to
an analytical point of view.
Perhaps,
It is the realization I have interwoven the present into the past,
the moments I am living within the moments
I have previously
lived.
To have arrived at this conclusion, I must admit, has left me
utterly confused. If I were to gaze upon the future;
I should not, considering my present
state of mind.
