The American Surgeon for the Soul wants you to sit quietly for at least 15 minutes every day to collect your thoughts. Remember, the world is as we are on the inside. What we believe, we see, and eventually, become. So gather and select your thoughts carefully. Consider how you wish to live.
Comparison is lethal. Remove it from your life. It crushes your potential and all the nice things you may already have going for you while you’re envious of others who you believe have it better. Bless those you admire, the wealthy, thin, in-love, self-assured, and powerful.
And instead of thinking to yourself, “I wish I had that…” tell them, “Way to go…you look wonderful… You have my admiration.”
With envy out of the way, you’ll have more room for your own brilliance to shine.
The rest of the world does not owe you a living. You owe it to the world to live. So quit daydreaming and go to work.
Develop a backbone rather than a wishbone. Accept complete responsibility for your life. You are valuable and required.
It’s too late to sit around and hope that someone will act someday. Someday has arrived; the world requires you.
Concentrate on being productive rather than busy. Get things done, but get the right things done.
